According to reports, it has been revealed that the upcoming Android Q. Now according to a report from Android Police, it seems that a feature in the Android Q beta has been activated in which users will now be able to schedule when dark mode turns on or off.
What this means is that if you’d prefer having Android manage when your dark mode turns on or off, you can now schedule it accordingly. For example, if you tend to use dark mode at night, you can set it so that your phone automatically enables it at night, but disables it in the morning when you wake up.
We should point out that based on what we can see, you can’t actually set the time of when it turns on or off. Instead, it seems to be based on sunrise and sunset. We also want to note that this feature isn’t new per se. It was previously discovered in an earlier beta of Android Q, but it seemed like it had not been enabled until now.
It also seems that dark mode can be automatically triggered to go off earlier than expected if it detects that your battery levels are low. Google had previously, so it’s good to see that they’re implementing it in this manner.
