Apple has dominated the top spot in Laptop Mag’s annual tech support rankings for the past few years and that hasn’t changed this year either. The Cupertino giant has topped the magazine’sfor having customer support agents that are among the fastest and most knowledgeable in the business.
Every year, the folks over at Laptop Mag go undercover as everyday shoppers to test the phone, social media, and web support provided by the leading laptop manufacturers. According to the magazine, Apple’s support agents consistently delivered accurate answers to their Mac questions across live chat, social media, and over the phone.
“Whether you’re seeking help with your MacBook on Twitter, via live chat or over the phone, Apple’s tech support agents are consistently speedy, knowledgeable and friendly. We just wish that the tech giant would offer troubleshooting support over Facebook.”
Apple got a top score of 91 out of a possible 100, followed by Razer in the second spot with a score of 88. The gaming laptop brand made the biggest leap of any manufacturer during this year’s showdown, climbing from second to last in 2020 to second place in 2020. Dell came in at third spot with a score of 78.
MSI maintained its dead-last spot once again this year due to its “frustrating web experience and non-responsive social accounts”. Lenovo dropped to second to last by failing to correctly answer any questions over the phone.
