It looks like the Android Pie update may be now rolling out to the carrier-unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 in the U.S. The update has been spotted on Reddit ^(https://www.reddit.com/r/samsung/comments/arvpou/just_got_one_ui_update_in_us_s9_unlocked_anybody/)at PhoneArena ^(https://www.phonearena.com/news/Unlocked-Samsung-Galaxy-S9-Android-9-Pie-update_id113765), and at yours truly (we couldn’t verify it, but the evidence is mounting).

The update has been seen for the S9 standard and S9 Plus ^(https://www.reddit.com/r/samsung/comments/arvosp/us_unlocked_s9_finally_seeing_one_ui_show_up/), with the latter update coming in at more than 1.7GB.

Sometimes updates roll out to a small set of users initially before a wider rollout begins sometime later, so treat this with caution until we learn more. If you’ve spotted the update on your Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus U.S. unlocked, let us know in the comments.

This story is breaking and this page will be updated again shortly.
