We’re sure many of us have organized outings and meetings with friends, but because everyone has different tastes and preferences, sometimes it can be hard to decide which bar to go to, which restaurant to eat at, and so on. Google is now making it easier.
This was actually a feature that was announced at Google I/O earlier this year, where users could create a list of places that they want to visit, share it with a group, and then those who are part of the group can then vote on what they want. This can be useful for organizing meetups with friends, or even on vacations where someone can put together a list of places that could be worth checking out, and everyone else can then vote on the best places if they’re short on time.
Adding places will be pretty straightforward as all users need to do is find a place and add it to the list. That being said, like we said earlier this feature is now being rolled out to some users. This means that there will be some of you guys who don’t see it available just yet, and since it appears to be a server-side test, updating the app won’t really change it (although you should keep your apps updated anyway). Hopefully Google will roll it out soon and we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
