While we don’t seem to be 100% certain how Mega Man 11 did sales-wise out of doors of its first week in Japan, Capcom is reputedly proud of the way it became out severely (it was once even up for awards at some shops).
That may just translate to a full-on Mega Man revival, because the game’s producer, Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, is taking a look to the longer term. Based on an interview with 4Gamer, Tsuchiya is not performed but, mentioning: “In 2019, we had been in a position to securely unlock Mega Man 11. This is additionally a thank-you to all the game lovers. In 2019, I want to make stable arrangements for what’s subsequent, so there is probably not any main motion, however I am hoping you’ll all watch over me with heat eyes…!”
While Mega Man 12 turns out like a no-brainer with the similar engine and ideas, there were rumors of a new Mega Man X game floating round for a while, perpetuated by means of Capcom. Whatever this new mysterious venture is, the longer term appears shiny for Mega Man.
