New Google Pixel 4 Leak Hints At Button-less Design

While the Google Pixel 3 was an impressive handset in terms of its features and camera, it might not have sold as well as Google would have liked. Could Google change that with the Pixel 4? Perhaps, although it seems that the company could be going with a rather unique design that some may or may not appreciate.

In a video uploaded to YouTube by Front Page Tech, they have managed to obtained leaked information about the upcoming Google Pixel 4. This includes how Google could be taking a page out of Samsung’s book and opting to use a hole-punch display to house the front-facing cameras instead of the notch.

Their source also “confirmed” an in-display fingerprint sensor (although whether or not it will use Qualcomm’s ultrasonic tech remains to be seen), front-facing speakers, and also how the phone could be dropping the use of physical buttons. This would be an interesting concept as it means that interacting with the phone would be solely reliant on gestures, like the Active Edge feature on the Pixel 3 smartphones.

Needless to say that this information should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but Front Page Tech has in the past leaked several accurate details about the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, so there is a chance that they could be right again.
