Fans of Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 are probably pretty excited and psyched that the game is getting a 4K remake. Previously^( which showed off the game running in 4K at a very smooth 60fps. Now thanks to more videos shared on YouTube, we get to see more of the game’s in-game footage.
The clips themselves aren’t particularly long and run for a few seconds, but boy do they look good. They certainly don’t look like the Resident Evil 2 that many fans have come to know and love, but considering that the game was released 20 years ago, we suppose a massive overhaul of its graphics was to be expected, and to be honest it’s also very much welcome as it basically feels like a brand new game.
The game is currently set for a release on the 25th of January, 2019 where it will be playable on the Xbox One and the PS4 as well as the PC.
