Not all streaming services have all the shows we want to watch, but at the same time it doesn’t make sense for us to subscribe to multiple services at the same time. This is where services such as Plex come in handy, where you can create your own media server filled with content of your choosing and stream it via multiple devices even when you’re not at home.
Now it looks like Plexin which Tidal’s music streaming service can also be used with Plex’s service. According to Plex’s announcement, “Well, dear reader, we’ve taken a serious run at solving those problems. We’ve partnered with TIDAL, who has a vast universe of music, most of it available in high quality FLAC, and we’ve worked out some really, really great ways to combine it with your own library.”
In addition to announcing their partnership, Plex has also announced a special deal that will combine a Tidal subscription, normally priced at $10 a month, with a Plex Pass for a total of $20 a month which apparently will nab users a savings of $60 a year. There will bethat you can sign up for if you’re wondering if perhaps this service might be worth it.
