Poco Launcher out of beta, try it out on your non-Pocophone now

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 surprised us all by offering some notable flagship specs — including a Snapdragon 845 and a 4,000mAh battery — for the very reasonable starting price of about $300.

However, what’s even more surprising is how popular the launcher is on the device. It’s popular enough that a beta listing on the Google Play Store earned half-a-million downloads and some pretty decent reviews with them.

What makes the Poco Launcher so special? It’s likely because it is simple and elegant — two words you most likely wouldn’t use to describe Xiaomi’s usual skinning of Android through its love-it-or-hate-it MIUI. The Poco Launcher is very close to stock, and it’s zippy, minimalism approach will make stock Android fanboys very happy.
