Developer Tozai Games has introduced that their remastered editions or Irem’s classic shmups, R-Type and R-Type II, are headed to PC and Nintendo Switch this Winter, within the type of R-Type Dimensions.
Originally launching on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2009, R-Type Dimensions sees the interstellar motion video games given a contemporary new glance, with made over graphics and remixed sound. For the purists, the classic pixel graphics also are integrated, with gamers ready to change between the two types on the mere press of a button. Also integrated are a brand new Infinite Mode and even two-player co-op.
Taking the arcades by way of typhoon in 1987, R-Type sees gamers steer a small-but-powerful send towards the overpowering forces of the Bydo Empire. The sport used to be extremely praised for its rapid motion, particular results and memorable boss fights. R-Type II arrived in 1989, bringing with it new guns, phases and enemies.
