Meizu 16s is certified, inches closer to launch

Meizu introduced its flagship simply called 16 ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/meizu_16-9280.php), and later the company CEO announced the successor will be named 16s, instead of the more logical 17. According to Chinese sources, the phone is closer to launch since it was certified by 3C with a model number M971Q.

The listing does not reveal much, but it shows the UP0830S charger will come with the phone. The block is the original fast charger of Meizu, meaning the flagship will have mCharge capabilities. Hopefully, it will bring Super mCharge that was demoed at MWC 2018 ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/super_mcharge_can_boost_your_meizu_from_0_to_60_in_10_minutes-blog-23697.php) and we haven’t heard a word about it ever since.

The phone allegedly leaked with specs last month ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/meizu_16s_is_certified_inches_closer_to_launch-news-36087.php#), revealing a Full HD+ AMOLED panel, covered with a Gorilla Glass 6. It will run on Snapdragon 855 and will have a 48 MP main shooter with Sony IMX586 sensor. The battery will be 3,600 mAh and will have a very thin profile. The whole setup is said to cost around CNY3,300, which is under $500/€450.
