Virgin Mobile Promo: $35/6GB, $40/8GB BYOD Plans with 1,000 International Minutes

Looks like Virgin Mobile is offering some promo plans for the long weekend at select stores.

According to RFD ^(https://forums.redflagdeals.com/virgin-mobile-virgin-mobile-35-6gb-40-8gb-1000-mins-byod-ymmv-2279946/#p30832538), the Virgin Mobile store at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, B.C., is advertising the following BYOD plans which include 500 nationwide minutes and 1,000 international minutes to select destinations in Asia:

$45/month BYOD

  • $10 off for 12 months = $35/month
  • 2GB + 2GB + 2GB = 6GB data
  • Caller ID, voicemail, international texting

$50/month BYOD

  • $10 off for 12 months = $40/month
  • 3GB + 3GB + 2GB = 8GB data
  • Caller ID, voicemail, international texting

In the end, you’ll get either a $35/6GB or $40/8GB BYOD plan for 12 months, before the price goes back up. But since you’d be on BYOD, you can then just switch to the next best deal whenever you please. These prices are cheaper than existing in-market plans from Virgin Mobile, as a 6GB plan would cost you $60, while an 8GB BYOD plan would cost you $70 per month.

No word if these plans are available outside B.C., but it’s worth calling in or checking with your local Virgin Mobile store to see if similar offers are available.
