It’s the end of 2018, and you might hear a collective sigh from smartphone pundits ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/android-2019-predictions-923244/). This year was celebrated almost universally by incremental increases ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/samsung-galaxy-note-9-review-895045/) to already great hardware ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/razer-phone-2-review-906495/). But we also got new form factors — sliders ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/xiaomi-mi-mix-3-review-918218/) and pop-out cameras ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/vivo-nex-price-specifications-features-india-887845/) — in our quest to eliminate the bezel. Those designs and more will be further refined in 2019, and we’re excited to see it!
Speaking of refined designs for 2019, we got our first hands-on look at a phone with a punch-hole ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/honor-view-20-review-935822/) camera. The Honor View 20 is coming in early 2019, and our reviewer David Imel got some time with the phone. What does he think of the hole? Is it better than the notch ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/notch-alternatives-poll-results-925966/)?
Plus, we have two new phones ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/xiaomi-mi-8-pro-review-936015/)from Xiaomi ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/xiaomi-black-shark-review-934720/), two possible new phones from Google ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/google-pixel-3-xl-lite-availability-release-date-937890/), and two OEMs who may once again be in hot water with the White House ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/huawei-zte-us-ban-937888/). Oh, and Samsung’s new One UI ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/samsung-one-ui-review-925595/) is coming to your Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus ^(https://www.appmarsh.com/samsung-galaxy-s9-s9-plus-stable-android-pie-update-one-ui-937202/) as we speak!
