Vivo S1 with true full screen, pop-up selfie cam, and triple-cameras now official

In China, Vivo officially made the S1 official. It’s the toned-down version of the of the regular V15.

Toned-down V15

Like the V15, S1 also sports a 3D glasstic back cover design and a true full screen 6.53-inch FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution screen with a pop-up camera system. Unlike the V15 with 32MP selfie cam, the S1 only has a 24.8MP front shooter.

Triple-cam

At the back, S1 also comes with a 12MP f/1.78 + 8MP f/2.2 + 5MP f/2.4 triple-camera setup. One of those sensors is a wide-angle shooter.

Inside, it features  highly capable mid-range worthy specs. It runs with a 12nm 2.1GHz Helio P70 octa-core shooter, Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, up to 256GB expandable storage with microSD card, and 3,940mAh battery with 18W fast charger.

The phone is also packed with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

Vivo S1 runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS with Funtouch OS 9.0, measures at 161.97 x 75.93 x 8.54 mm, and weighs at 189.5 grams.

The phone is priced at CNY 2,298 or around PHP 17.8K.

It is only available in China for now.
