In India, Vivo has sent out invites for the launch of a new smartphone on September 6. Based on the art style and clues on the invite, it is the V11, the successor of V9.
The Vivo V11?
The invite art also showed an image of a fingerprint which hints that this handset will come with an In-Display fingerprint scanner. If that’s the case, this will be the first V-series device of the company to come with the said new unlocking technology.

For those who missed it, the Vivo X21 is the world’s first smartphone with the In-Display fingerprint scanner.
According to leaks, the alleged Vivo V11 will feature a glossy-glass like design at the back and a big 6.41-inch FHD+ screen with tiny notch. It reminds us of the waterdrop notch design of the OPPO F9 except that the V11 notch is a bit more round.
Inside, it could be powered by the Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC with Adreno 512 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 3,400mAh battery capacity, 12MP + 5MP dual cameras, and 25MP selfie camera.
But, let’s stay tuned for Vivo’s official announcement.
