Yet Another Report Claims Earlier Than Expect Galaxy Note 9 Launch

A rumor from a couple of months ago revealed that Samsung could be thinking of launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 earlier than expected, possibly in July ^( This is much earlier than Samsung usually launches their Note series of smartphones, but it looks like those rumors won’t be put to rest anytime soon.

According to a report from The Korea Herald ^(, it seems that they too are claiming an earlier than expected launch for the Galaxy Note 9. The report claims that this is to make up for the supposed low sales of the Galaxy S9 series, which last we heard only recently hit the 1 million units sold mark in South Korea ^(

It goes on to claim that the phone might be unveiled in August instead of September, a month earlier than last year. While it’s not as early as July as per the other report, it does seem to corroborate rumors that the phone could be launched earlier than previous generations of the Note series.

While Samsung declined to comment on the report, a Samsung official was quoted as saying. “The internal atmosphere is not much different compared to last year for early launches. There are a lot of co-works underway with outside part suppliers to develop various prototypes. Their supply timing wouldn‘t determine our schedules for new launches.”
